General objective of the training program
This program aims to provide trainees with the skills to use different signaling equipment and full knowledge of the terminology associated with them.
Detailed objectives of the training program
By the end of the training program, the trainee will be able to:
1. Describe the basic structure of "fixed tracks"
2. Explain the need for signals on railways
3. Know the different signals used on the Saudi railway network
4. Have full knowledge of how to operate sensors / train wheel counters (Axle counter)
5. Explain the basic principles of operating the electrical track
6. Identify the main components and the different operational characteristics of the relay
7. Know the electrical connection system
8. Know the symbols and names used in the technical drawing of signals
