Furthermore, it highlights the importance of defining roles and responsibilities and the most prominent administrative systems currently available for occupational safety and health at the facility level.

General Objective

This program aims to equip trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in the field of occupational safety and health, achieving Level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework.

• Combats various types of fires using appropriate tools and equipment to minimize losses in human and material resources.

• Monitors the safety of the work environment by reviewing and monitoring the relevant systems and procedures to identify sources of indoor pollution and create a safe, pollution-free work environment.

• Understands the roles and responsibilities of relevant occupational safety and health entities at the local, regional, and international levels by reviewing the relevant legislation and regulations to clearly define each entity's role and responsibilities.

• Implements emergency plans at work sites using appropriate methods and tools to define roles, responsibilities, and how to respond before, during, and after accidents.

• Participates in evacuation and first aid plans according to established procedures to contribute to the proper provision of emergency and evacuation services and to preserve the lives of the injured.

• Investigates various incidents according to their specialization, responsibilities, and assigned tasks, using written procedures and training specialists to determine the causes of the incident and prevent its recurrence.

• Prepares the work area correctly in a manner that suits the worker's capabilities to reduce the risk of work-related or stress-related injuries.

• Inspects work environments and employees through visits and meticulous follow-up on reports to maintain the safety of the work environment and employees.
